It's kind of interesting that you just posted this because a friend of mine just asked me about indoor worm composting. What kind of container are your worms in now? How do you collect the worm castings?
The high is 70 today in North Florida.

I am using a big blue tupperware container thing, in my basement ohh let me tell you it is a learning experience !!! first of all no matter what they tell you.... it is a lil more involved than they say .... get your bin ready and let it set for a week or so , with the food and all in it. I take the castings out by hand .. with gloves ... I am in a worm group , It may be easier, called "Red Wigglers" You know it is myspace , I don't know how to do the link thing sorry . Try it tho. There are 10 people in the group. the one guy is very smart on the subject!

Thanks Jason! I started out with 500 worms I put ripped up cardboard and a couple handfulls of dirt and a hand full or leaves some ripped up newspaper then moisten with water, the food i chop it up ,no meat or dairy ,make sure you put some smashed up eggshels in there , you also have to drill holes in the sides and top of the bin , some people drill holes on the bottom, I did not do that to mine. Then after about two weeks you get your worms and add them , if they try to escape put a light on they don't like light . sometimes it takes a few for them to get used to their new home. I'll try and get pics.
